It's a song that is so good that I named my cat after it. As a long-time Swiftie, this song could not be more satisfying if it tried. Long live the Karma album theories.
Too Much - March 2, 2024
If someone has ever told you that you were ‘too much’ or need to ‘bring it down a notch,’ this song is for you. I have had girl in red on repeat since this song dropped earlier this year.
Capricorn - March 3, 2024
As a kid who grew up on 00’s indie music, I wasn’t sure how I would feel about this new Vampire Weekend song. It took a few listens to settle in as one of my favorites of 2024.
Is It Any Wonder? - March 4, 2024
It was 2018 in a local pizza shop when I heard this song for the first time, and I’ve loved Durand Jones & The Indications ever since. Nothing makes my brain happier than retro-sounding music, which this group does well.
Some - March 5, 2024
This song is an excellent example of how you don’t need to make your song nine minutes to create something that makes people feel something. R&B is a new love, and this Steve Lacy track shows R&B’s best side.
Feather - March 6, 2024
As a single person trying to date, I find this song helpful in getting through this crazy time. Sabrina Carpenter's performance of this song at The Eras Tour lives in my head rent-free.
Prom - March 7, 2024
This song was truly an instant classic. SZA’s voice stands out and will be a defining artist of my generation. It’s so exciting to see her continue to succeed.
Pop Thieves (Make It Feel Good) March 8, 2024
This reminds me of many songs I remember listening to as a kid. I will forever love Donald Glover, especially in the music scene. Everything he touches is gold.
Get Together - March 9, 2024
I had the pleasure of seeing Madonna live this year and would highly recommend it. Though she did not play this song, it still stands as my favorite album from her.
We Belong Together - March 10, 2024
Mariah Carey is and will forever be iconic. Seeing her live in Vegas was a moment I will never forget. This was, of course, one of the songs she played after coming out 30 minutes late for an hour-long set.
Soft Stud - March 11, 2024
I always love to support local Portland artists. My Mom showed me this song from Black Belt Eagle Scout during one of the first years of the pandemic, and it became an earworm I couldn’t shake.
Tropic Morning News - March 12, 2024
While this isn’t a newly discovered band for me, I have a newfound appreciation for them — thanks to Taylor Swift. I fell in love with the relaxing nature of this album.
Rebuke - March 13, 2024
When this album came out last May, I was deep into experiencing EDC in Las Vegas. I was lucky enough to see Kaytranada’s set that weekend and became a quick fan of anything he does. I also got to see Kaytraminé perform this album together in Portland.
Oscillate Wildly - March 14, 2024
It may sound dramatic, but The Smiths got me through college. Their music fits the moody rain that Portland never seems to get rid of. As a Johnny Marr stan, I love anytime they do an instrumental track.

I am new to the world of EDM. I always say I go where the fun times are, and that’s how I ended up at EDC last Spring. Fred Again instantly stuck out to me and served as a great place to start my EDM journey.

Thieves Like Us - March 17, 2024
New Order is one of those bands that people sleep on. Either they are die-hard Joy Division fans or think they are too cool. This song makes me think of driving to school my senior year and repeatedly listening to it.
Hotel Room Service - March 18, 2024
If you say you don’t like Pitbull, then as Maury Povich says, “That is a lie.” One of my favorite live music memories was seeing him perform at Lovers and Friends last Spring. Every time I listen to this song, it makes me smile.
Under Water / In Air - March 19, 2024
Strfkr is hands down my favorite band of all time. I will never pass up a time to see them live in their hometown of Portland, OR. They never release a bad album, and I will die on that hill.
Spitting Off The Edge of The World - March 20, 2024
This song took me by surprise — of course, I’ve always loved the Yeah Yeah Yeah’s, but I wasn't expecting for this song to go so hard. It’s ethereal vibes, and her vocals keep me coming back for more.
Not My Fault - March 21, 2024
Reneé Rapp killed it with this track. The second I heard it while watching the movie, I knew it would be in my top five this year.
I'm Just Ken - March 22, 2024
I will never get over Ken’s big number in Barbie, let alone Ryan Gosling’s performance at The Oscars. The fact that Slash is on the track is unbelievable and adds to the over-the-top nature of this song.
Purple Sun - March 23, 2024
One of the things I love most about music streaming is the accidental discovery of great songs. I knew one or two songs from Cannons, but I heard this one night while sipping whiskey in a hot tub.
Obsessed - March 24, 2024
One could say that I am obsessed with this song. While I missed her Sour tour, I hope to catch Olivia Rodrigo on her Guts World Tour this summer.
Boy's a liar Pt. 2 - March 25, 2024
PinkPantheress and Ice Spice are truly an iconic duo, and this track proves it. This song makes me think of late nights spent in a friend’s basement while hiding away from the rest of the party.
Moves - March 26, 2024
I saw this tweet where someone said that Suki Waterhouse looks like her songs, and I thought this was an interesting idea. I first heard her on TikTok and would highly recommend using the app to find some fire songs.
Early Mornings - March 27, 2024
Goth Babe is unbelievably amazing — his songs fit every kind of situation. I could not be more excited to see him later this year.

I don’t typically listen to Sam Smith, but magic is created anytime they work with Disclosure. Smith’s voice fits so well with the electronic feel of Disclosure’s beats.

Tyler, The Creator was one of the most fun concerts I’ve been to. It was one of the first concerts I went to when everything started opening up during the pandemic — I splurged and got some good seats.

My love for Rap music came a bit later in my life. During the first year of the pandemic, I found Kendrick Lamar’s lyrics compelling. I hope to see him live someday soon.
